Gen X Trash Talk Trivia is operated by F7 LTD LLC ("F7 LTD," "we," "us"). This policy describes information used to provide the game and manage your account.
We use Firebase Authentication to manage your email address, account identifier, and sign-in credentials. Your game profile and progress are stored in Firebase Firestore, including your username, avatar identifier, scores, wins, achievements, streaks, game history, coins, and power-up inventory. We use this information to sign you in, save your progress, and provide game features.
Your username, avatar identifier, and win count appear on the public leaderboard. Your email address stays in your private account records. Choose a username you are comfortable displaying publicly.
Apple processes App Store payments. The game does not collect your credit-card or bank-account details. We use RevenueCat to validate the Founders Pass, restore purchases, and determine whether your game account has access to its benefits. Your Firebase account identifier links your game account to the RevenueCat purchase profile.
Our backend runs on Railway. To request generated trivia, the app sends a category, difficulty, and question count to our backend, which uses OpenAI to generate questions. The question-generation prompt does not contain your email address, username, or game history. Your sign-in token authenticates the request to our backend.
Our hosting and backend providers (Google Firebase and Railway) may keep standard operational and diagnostic logs — the kind generated by running any server, such as request timestamps and error reports — for a limited time to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service. The app itself does not send analytics or crash data to any other third party.
An optional selected profile photo remains in local device storage in the current app; the app does not upload that photo to our game backend. When you choose to share a result or message, your device's sharing or messaging tools handle the action, and we do not save the contents of what you share. The game does not access your address book or location.
We do not sell your personal information, run advertising in the game, or use your information to track you across other companies' apps and websites.
You can delete your account in Settings by confirming your password and choosing Delete Account. Successful deletion removes your Firebase sign-in account, private profile and game history, public leaderboard record, and RevenueCat customer profile. If deletion cannot finish, the app reports an error so you can retry.
Deleting a game account does not erase Apple's purchase records or issue a refund. Apple manages its own purchase history and refund process.
We retain your account and game data while your account remains active. When account deletion completes successfully, we remove the account records described above from our live game systems. Apple and our service providers may retain certain records under their own retention policies or applicable legal requirements.
For privacy questions or help with deletion, contact mfischer@f7ltd.com. We will update this page when our data practices change and show the revised effective date.
